  • The UltraShape Treatment

    • This non-invasive procedure uses focused ultrasound to heat and destroy the overflowing fat cells that create cellulite lumpiness on the thighs and stomach. Ultrashape's ultrasound waves target cells deep under the skin while leaving epidermal cells on the skin’s surface undamaged.

    UltraShape Not in US yet

    Although used in Europe, Asia, and Canada to smooth and reshape areas of unwanted body fat, UltraShape is not yet available in the United States. More development is needed, though this device holds a good deal of promise.

    The UltraShape Treatment

    No anesthesia is needed during the UltraShape treatment. The ultrasound waves are delivered into the skin via a hand piece (transducer) that is gently rolled across the skin. The entire procedure takes less than an hour. Afterward, patients experience some minor swelling and redness, but these side effects usually subside within a few hours.
