Choosing a Doctor

Go to an Experienced Surgeon

  • Go to an Experienced Surgeon
  • Don’t ‘Bargain-Hunt’
  • Risks and Complications
  • Provider experience is truly the most important factor in determining the success and satisfaction you we get out of any cellulite procedure. First and foremost it’s important to note that there is currently no ‘cure’ available for cellulite. Beware any who says otherwise. There are a large number of people out there selling ‘magic’ procedures for cellulite because they know patients are desperate for a cure. Unfortunately money often has more to do with these treatments than science. We do have some devices which can improve cellulite, but the results are less predictable than other treatments. An honest physician will explain this to you during your consultation.

    Don’t ‘Bargain-Hunt’

There are no bargains in cosmetic procedures. You truly are paying for the experience and knowledge of the physician caring for you. During your consultation you should understand all the risks and possible complications which may come with your treatment, as well as a written quote for the cost of the procedure. Do not be afraid to ask questions of your provider and find out why they are recommending one treatment over the other. Do they offer other treatments, or is this the only one?

    Risks and Complications

Almost every expert laser surgeon has personally treated patients who have gone to other practitioners looking for a ‘good deal’ only to be let-down or even injured. Often we can help improve the damage done, but we cannot always heal it 100%. This can be quite sad and is avoidable. Even the most experienced doctor can have unwanted risks and complications during a treatment, which is why it’s so important to go to someone with a solid understanding and experience in what they are doing.
